Sometimes we are believing wrong about certain type of food. But why?, Now days the social life and social media are making a brain wash in each of us. Be careful what you believe, and who to believe about nutrition. First of all, think and be aware if that person has knowledge about this topic.

  • MYTH: Drinking grape fruit juice burns fat.
    TRUTH: Any citrus fruit has fiber which helps to reduce fat through the intestine because of the good performance of the gallbladder. So in conclusion, doesn’t exist any food which burns fat.

 

  • MYTH: Salt intake makes me fat.
    TRUTH: Salt doesnt contain any calorie, and none fat amount. You may increase weight because of the food that you add salt on. Be careful in the amount of food. As much salt and big amount of food you will retain liquids and in long terms some cardiovascular diseases.

 

  • MYTH: If I sweat more I lose more weight.
    TRUTH: The temperature of the body increase, so the pores are open and ready to expulse liquid, this is the sweat. As much as you expulse this liquid more dehydrated you are. But this is not going to help you to burn fat. You can lose total weight because of lack of water on the body, but once you hydrate yourself again you are back in the same weight. So if you sweat you don’t burn fat.
